Academic and Organizational Shareholders
Academic and Organizational Shareholders
JAFSCD Shareholders have purchased shares in JAFSCD to support our community-supported journal model that provides free access to all JAFSCD content to everyone, worldwide. They include programs and departments at colleges and universities; nonprofits and agencies; foundations; good food companies; and others. All academic and organizational shareholders become members of the JAFSCD Shareholder Consortium, which provides guidance to the JAFSCD staff on research priorities, special issue topics, and other editorial concerns.
Benefits of being an Academic or Organizational Shareholder include:
- Automatic waiver of JAFSCD's US$750 article processing charge (APC) for any author affiliated with the institution
- Free ads on our website and in mailings — to share your new reports, job openings, degree programs, certifications, events, etc.
- The option to publish an annual shareholder commentary on a topic of interest or concern
- Sharing your institution's work through a shareholder spotlight
- Your logo and program name displayed in the list below!
